Charlotte clinician, researcher and CLEAR Institute Board Member receives advanced professional recognition for his contributions to non-surgical scoliosis care, research and clinical education
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — September 23, 2026 — Clear Life Scoliosis and Chiropractic Center is pleased to announce that Justin M. Dick, DC, has been appointed a Senior Fellow of the CLEAR Scoliosis Institute, recognizing his continued clinical, academic and professional contributions to the field of non-surgical scoliosis care.
The appointment represents another milestone in Dr. Dick’s longstanding involvement with CLEAR Institute. He became CLEAR certified in 2018, was subsequently recognized as a CLEAR Fellow, and in 2024 was appointed to the CLEAR Scoliosis Institute Board of Directors.
“Being named a Senior Fellow is both an honor and a responsibility,” said Dr. Dick. “CLEAR has played an important role in advancing conservative scoliosis care and in challenging clinicians to continually improve how we evaluate, treat and study scoliosis. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to that work and, most importantly, to continue improving the care we provide our patients.”
Dr. Dick is the founder of Clear Life Scoliosis and Chiropractic Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his clinical work focuses on non-surgical scoliosis management, corrective spinal rehabilitation, cervical biomechanics and rehabilitation following motor vehicle collisions.
His professional background combines chiropractic practice with earlier training in diagnostic imaging and healthcare administration. Dr. Dick earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2016. His additional training includes nuclear medicine and computed tomography, and he is an alumnus of the World Masters program through ISICO, the Italian Scientific Spine Institute.
In recent years, Dr. Dick has expanded his work beyond clinical practice into peer-reviewed research. His published research has examined adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, cervical biomechanics in patients with scoliosis, spinal structural rehabilitation following motor vehicle collision, and spinal alignment in older adults with scoliosis.
His 2025 research, “A Retrospective Cross-Sectional Analysis of Abnormal Cervical Mechanics in Patients With Scoliosis,” examined cervical spine biomechanics in patients with scoliosis and was subsequently presented in connection with the 2026 International Research and Philosophy Symposium at Sherman College of Chiropractic.
The Senior Fellow appointment reflects a progression in Dr. Dick’s relationship with CLEAR Institute—from certified practitioner, to Fellow, to Board Member, researcher and now Senior Fellow.
“For me, research and clinical practice have to work together,” Dr. Dick said. “Every patient teaches us something. Our responsibility as clinicians is not simply to apply what we already know, but to measure outcomes, ask better questions and contribute what we learn to the larger body of knowledge surrounding scoliosis.”
